How to Add or Find Favorites on TikTok?

I bet you didn’t know that TikTok lets you add… things to favorites (hashtags, effects, sounds, videos, etc.) You can later find these favorites on your profile and remember the good times.

How to add favorites on TikTok:

  1. Go to a video you want to favorite
  2. Press on the three dots on the right-hand side of the screen
  3. Tap on “Add to Favorites” to add the video to your favorites.

How to find favorites on TikTok:

  2. There, you’ll find all your favorites in categories

How Do You Add Favorites on TikTok?

While browsing TikTok, you often see something you like: a sound, a hashtag, an effect, or a TikTok video. And you’d want to keep them close so you can maybe use them later. Not judging…

Well, you can totally do that with the Favorites function. To start, find a video you like on TikTok:

Once you open the video’s main page, find the three-dot icon located on the right-hand sidebar, and then tap it.

A new menu will open up (look below).

The “Add to Favorites” option is first on the list, so tap it.

Alternatively, if the three-dot option doesn’t appear, you need to tap on the Share Icon and select “Add to Favorites (see below).

You can also add hashtags, sounds, and posts to your favorites using the same method.

Search on your TikTok app, and look for anything you need, then add them to your Favorites, and that’s it.

You could add sounds to your favorites, for instance. Select one of them, and it’ll take you to the hashtag’s main page.

You can tap “Add to favorites” to add the entire hashtag to your favorites, and you’ll be able to access them later on.

The same goes for sounds, effects, and products. and almost anything else on TikTok.

Where Are the Favorites on TikTok?

After adding something to your favorites, you need to know where to find it.

Follow the steps below to do just that:

1. Go to your Profile and tap on the Bookmark icon

With TikTok opened, go to your profile page by tapping on the profile icon in the bottom-right corner, and then select the “Favorites” icon (it looks like a bookmark – check the screenshot above).

2. Select a favorite category

On this page (look above), you’ll see all the different categories for your favorite content – hashtags, questions, videos, sounds, and so on.

It could be a video, a sound, a hashtag, a product, or a question. Even effects are here.

If you want to remove a type of content from your favorites, navigate to the main video page, click on the Share icon, and you can remove it from your favorites.
