How Can You Hide Your Videos on TikTok?

To hide a video on TikTok, you’ll need to open your profile page and find the video under your Bio section.

Select it and then tap the three-dot icon on the right-hand sidebar. This will open a menu with several options, one of being “Privacy Settings“.

Go there and then select “Only me” in the “Who can watch this video?” menu. That’s all. Follow my instructions below to see how to do all this:

All your videos on TikTok will be on your profile page, in the “Public” section under your Bio.

Begin by opening TikTok and going to your profile page (profile icon in the bottom-right corner). Then, find your video in the “Posts” section (under your bio).

Check the screenshot above if you can’t find it.

Once you find the video, tap on it and see the next steps:

FAQ

Can you hide your TikTok videos from someone specifically?

Yes, but not the way you’re thinking.

TikTok doesn’t let you directly hide your videos from specific people on the platform.

You either hide the video from everyone, or you make it public. There’s no in-between.

However, if you block the other user, they won’t be able to see your videos.

They won’t even be able to find your profile on TikTok anymore, let alone see your videos.

To block someone, go to their profile, tap on the three-dot icon, and then select “Block.”

If necessary, confirm your action, and that’s it! Now the other person won’t be able to see your videos anymore.

Alternatively, if you don’t want strangers to see your videos, you can set the visibility of the videos to “Friends only.”

This means that only the followers you follow can see them. If you don’t follow a follower, that person won’t be able to see your video.

Of course, setting the video to “Only Me” means no one but you will be able to see that video.

It’ll stay in your private section until you decide to make it public again.

My name is Alex and I have a knack for social media in all its shapes and forms. I’ve dealt with such things for quite some time and I noticed that many people have issues with social media and technicalities.

Unforeseen errors, bugs, and other problems make their use of social media problematic. These things will be discussed amply in the guides on Whizcase.

I'll present the facts as they are, and offer quick and easy solutions for them.
