So, you want to remove some of your followers? That’s easy, though it’s not what you think. You can’t remove followers from your Spotify profile.
This means that, even after you’re done with this guide, they’ll still appear as your followers on your profile.
What you can do is block them. By blocking your Spotify followers, you’ll stop them from seeing your profile, public playlists, recent tracks, etc.
Your Spotify account is invisible to a blocked follower. Here’s how to block a follower on Spotify:
- Go to your Spotify profile
- Find the “Followers” marker and click on it
- Right-click on your follower
- Select “Block“
- Confirm your action by selecting “Block” again
The process is nearly identical on computers and mobile devices. Keep reading for a detailed guide on how to remove followers on Spotify!

Conclusion
To summarize, you can remove or block a Spotify follower by going to your profile, selecting the Follower count, selecting your follower, and blocking them.
Every follower should have a settings page once they get to their profile page, whether on a computer or mobile.
Usually, that setting page is hidden behind the three-dot icon for mobile phones. As for computer Spotify, you must right-click on your follower’s name in the “Followers” tab on your profile and then select “Block.”
Confirm your action, and that’s it!
