The YouTube comment history helps you keep track of all your arguments, debates, and conflicts on the platform. But to make use of this great benefit, you first have to find the feature.
Do these to see your comment history in YouTube:
- Open YouTube and open your Menu
- Click on “History”
- Click on “Comments”
- This will take you to a page called “Your YouTube Comments”
I have to say that YouTube doesn’t make it very easy to find the “Comment History” (thanks Google!) but follow my instructions closely (check the screenshots) and you’ll be done in no time!

How Can You See Your YouTube Comment History?

Open YouTube, and go to Menu – History– Comments.
Once you’re there, you’ll see all your comments from newest to oldest. Scroll down to the bottom to see your first comment on the platform.
Naturally, it’ll take a long time to find your oldest comment if you’re commenting a lot. But it is what it is… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
See the steps below to do this:
1. Open YouTube and click the Menu icon

First step – open YouTube (www.youtube.com), log into your account and then click the Menu icon (top-left corner).
2. Click on “History”

Once you click the Menu icon, a side menu will open showing several options. One of these is “History“. Click it and see what’s next:
3. Click on “Comments”

Once you’re on the “History” page, scroll down until you find the “Comments” option and select it.
This will take you to a page with all your comments, from newest to oldest. Scroll through and find the one you’re looking for.
See? That was easy! Leave a comment below if you have any questions, or if any of the steps above left you stumped.
