How Can You View Your Own Snapchat Profile?
To go to your profile, tap on your Bitmoji.
It’s the avatar picture of yourself in the top-left corner.
After you tap on it, you’ll land on your profile page.
You’ll see your Snapchat username, name, and Snap score here.
The Snap score is usually next to your username and shows how many snaps you sent over time.
So, if you have a snap score of 300, it means you’ve sent 300 snaps during the lifetime of your Snapchat account.
In your Profile, you can change your Bitmoji, the background, add a Snapchat story, add to your Spotlights, add Friends, and visit your Spotlight favorites.
How Can You View Other People’s Snapchat Profiles?
Visiting someone else’s Snapchat profile is a bit different.
First, you and that person need to have each other as friends.
Otherwise, it won’t work.
Once you add someone as a friend on Snapchat, you can see their Bitmoji profile when you open a chat with them.
If the other person hasn’t accepted your friend request, you won’t see their Snap score.
Only if you’re mutual friends can you see more detailed information about them.
Here’s a guide on how to see someone else’s profile:
1. Add that person as your friend
First, you need to add that person as your friend.
In your Chat section, you’ll find the Quick Add menu.
Under it, you’ll find friend recommendations.
Click on the Add button next to someone you want to add as your friend.
Snapchat will send them a friend request.
However, they don’t have to accept it to open a chat with them.
2. Open a chat with that person
To visit someone’s profile, you need to open up a chat with them.
So, tap on a friend’s picture to do that.
3. Tap on their Bitmoji icon
Once you’re chatting with that person, you’ll see their Bitmoji avatar in the top-left corner.
Tap on it to visit their profile.
4. See what’s on their profile
See the number below their profile picture?
A snap score of 9426 is huge indeed. It means they sent 9426 snaps. That’s the snap score.
You can even see your friend’s friends if they haven’t specifically changed this option in their privacy settings.
A person’s profile is the most important indicator of who they are on Snapchat.
You’ll see their snap score, location, friend list (optionally), and even their zodiac sign.
The snap score clearly shows how active that person is on Snapchat.
You’ll need to be mutual friends with that person to see these things.
To visit a person’s profile, add them as your friends, enter a chat, and tap on their Bitmoji avatar.
Can you visit someone’s Snapchat profile without adding them as friends?
Yes, you can.
By viewing public stories someone posts, you can visit their profile without them being your friends.
Go to the Stories tab to browse public stories.
Look for the “For You” section.
There, you’ll find plenty of public stories.
Tap on one of them to view it.
You should find that person’s name somewhere. Tap on it to see their Snapchat profile.
Can you view someone’s Snapchat story without them knowing?
Snapchat tells you if someone views your story. Users will know specifically who views their Snapchat stories.
If you don’t want someone to know you viewed their story, here’s how you do it!
Open your Snapchat, then tap on Stories.
Swipe down to refresh the list of stories.
Once the stories are all updated, close the Snapchat app.
Enable Airplane Mode on your Phone.
Reopen Snapchat and view all the stories there.
With Airplane Mode on, no one will know you viewed their story.
Can someone see if you view their Snapchat profile?
No, they can’t.
The Snapchat app doesn’t notify them that you viewed their public profile, snap score, location, etc.
However, if you take a screenshot of their Snapchat public profile, the app will notify them.
So be careful of that.
Even if you want to show someone else this person’s snap score, taking a screenshot will alert them.
